The Friends of Levitt Pavilion San Jose have one mission: the construction of a performance venue in historic St. James Park that will feature 50 free, family-friendly concerts each year.
Until we get there, we are working NOW to build community through music, and serve as a resource for the local performing arts community.
May Day for the Arts will be a virtual concert to celebrate and support local, San Jose performing artists during the current shelter-in-place This four-hour ‘virtual Levitt Pavilion’ will feature a variety of performances by local artists and producers, for viewing from the comfort of your home. As you enjoy the performances, you will be able to donate directly to the artists themselves through virtual tip jars. Also, at the end of each performance, you will be able to interact live with the performers to ask questions and learn more about who they are and what they do.
Picnic with us in your living room, on the patio, or in your bedroom as we join together as a community to let the performing arts get us through these times!
